House Manager

Role Overview:

The House Manager is responsible for the overall operation and management of the residential facility, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for clients.

  • Morning Shift

    - Conduct morning check-ins with clients to address any immediate needs or concerns.

    - Oversee breakfast and ensure the cleanliness of common areas.

    - Coordinate with staff for daily activities and appointments.

    - Monitor compliance with house rules and address any issues.

  • Afternoon Shift

    - Facilitate afternoon activities and workshops.

    - Conduct room inspections and ensure maintenance requests are addressed.

    - Manage evening meal preparations and oversee dinner service.

    - Provide support for clients returning from work or educational programs.

  • Night Shift

    - Ensure the safety and security of the facility during nighttime hours.

    - Conduct regular rounds to monitor the premises.

    - Address any emergencies or incidents that arise overnight.

    - Prepare a report for the morning shift with updates and any issues.

Case Manager

Role Overview:

The Case Manager works closely with clients to develop and implement individualized plans, providing guidance and resources to support their progress.

Day-to-Day Functions:

  • Conduct initial assessments and develop personalized care plans.

  • Meet with clients regularly to review progress and adjust plans as needed.

  • Coordinate with external service providers for additional support (e.g., medical, educational).

  • Facilitate access to educational and vocational training opportunities.

  • Document client interactions and maintain accurate records.

  • Collaborate with the House Manager and Peer Support Specialist to ensure cohesive support.

Peer Support Specialist

Role Overview:

The Peer Support Specialist provides lived-experience guidance and support, helping clients navigate their recovery journey and fostering a sense of community.

Day-to-Day Functions:

  • Facilitate peer support groups and encourage open discussions.

  • Offer one-on-one support and mentorship to clients, sharing personal experiences and coping strategies.

  • Assist in organizing community engagement activities and volunteer opportunities.

  • Provide feedback to the Case Manager on client progress and any emerging needs.

  • Help clients build social networks and connect with community resources.

  • Promote a positive and inclusive environment within the facility.
